Elizabeth smiling at the cameraElizabeth K. Mauro

In the last twenty-six years, I have completed 849 installations for institutions, galleries, and private collectors. I have received professional training in principles of exhibition design, art handling and installation from nine different museums. In addition to installing artwork for private collectors in their homes, I work for several museums within the Puget Sound on a regular basis. My frequent clients include the Bellevue Arts Museum, the Frye Art Museum, and the Museum of Glass.

After growing up on a flower farm in Southern California, I received a BFA degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz. I continued my way up the pacific coast and was drawn to Seattle because of its incredible natural beauty. In addition to managing my art installation business, I continue to work in my own art studio making figurative sculptures out of fabric and clay as well as one-of-a-kind art books.

“Elizabeth is one of the best art installation and art handling professionals in the field – she is detail-oriented, trustworthy, careful, and a problem-solver when it comes to handling challenging installations. We couldn’t be more delighted with her professionalism, knowledge, and reliability.”
