Elizabeth K. Mauro
Since 1991, I have completed over 1200 installations for institutions, galleries, and private collectors. I have received professional training in principles of exhibition design, art handling and installation from nine different museums. In addition to installing artwork for private collectors in their homes, during my career I worked for several museums within the Puget Sound on a regular basis. My frequent clients included the Bellevue Arts Museum, the Frye Art Museum, and the Museum of Glass.
After growing up on a flower farm in Southern California, I received a BFA degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz. I continued my way up the pacific coast and was drawn to Seattle because of its incredible natural beauty. In addition to managing my art consultation business, I continue to work in my own art studio making figurative sculptures out of fabric and clay as well as one-of-a-kind art books.
“Elizabeth is one of the best art installation and art handling professionals in the field – she is detail-oriented, trustworthy, careful, and a problem-solver when it comes to handling challenging installations. We couldn’t be more delighted with her professionalism, knowledge, and reliability.”
