Jeffrey Stenbom’s installation “Every Year” is being displayed for the first time at Bellevue Arts Museum as part of the exhibition ‘Emerge/Evolve 2016: Rising Talents in Kiln-Glass.’ The installation features 7,300 kiln-glass army identification tags, representing the number of veterans who commit suicide each year in the United States. Stenbom’s work is inspired by his time served in Iraq and his own challenges dealing with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. Emerge/Evolve 2016 opens tomorrow, Friday, May 26. visitbam.org/emerge-evolve-2016
